What surprised me the most in 2016 was the bankruptcy of TransAsia Airways. It offered FSC services with price setting almost same as LCC. What is more, its meal was so delicious even the volume was not so much! It is really wasteful!

台灣南部的２６大地震災情，日本多位藝人特地為台灣祈福，官方也派遣搜救隊伍協助救災。根據 Yahoo.jp 的官方公告，台灣是著名的親日派，當年東日本大地震期間，台灣集合了全台各地知名搜救隊伍資源，並提供總計 560 噸的救災物資，來自政府地方的資源超過200億日元，可見台日十分友好。
台灣在2011年捐助龐大的社會資源，因此雅虎日本決議將「#加倍奉還」所有捐贈者的金額，強調「您捐多少，我們再幫您加一倍」。
不過，由於雅虎日本將捐款金額上限訂在200萬日元，但開放募款至今不到一天，來自日本各地的捐款已經逼近5千萬日元，而且金額還在持續上升，愛心暖流的強度非常驚人。

日本首相安倍晉三6日表示，「台灣南部發生大地震，得知出現大規模的災害，我的心非常痛，我真心為罹難者哀悼，也為所有災民祈福，在這個困難的時刻，不管台灣需要什麼支援，日本什麼都可以提供。」
